Ever since Brad got the boot, Tide Baseball and the Cardinals have been killing it

Shuster came up huge today. 1 hit through 6 innings?!?! We desperately needed that.

Ozzie salvaging the series vs the Codgers.

Takes a small bit of the sting away from that BAMA/UF game. FFS.

Braves bout to eat vs philly.

I cannot figure Elder out. Most of his baseball savant profile is a disaster that screams massive regression, but he is somehow chugging along and shutting down some really solid lineups lately. His stuff is nothing crazy, but he gets late movement on it and very rarely misses his spots. I wish that kind of batted ball data had been available 20 years ago so we could compare to what a couple of GOAT command pitchers like Maddux and Glavine looked like.

Yeah, Elder seems to be pulling a Houdini act right now, but I’ll take it! Saw something that said hitters are like .280 with nobody on but, .170 with runners on base. That can’t hold for very long.

Great win tonight despite starting a pitcher with a 6+ ERA who is 1-3 in AAA starts. Need Soroka and Max back quickly!!

Only bad thing is Minter is broken…bad.

We came into the toughest 21 game stretch we will face all season at probably the worst time with our pitching being hurt. We are right now 9-9 with 3 games left. If we can finish this stretch 11-10 with all the injuries that will be a massive victory IMO.

I can't wait to see Soroka pitch Monday in Oakland. He's either a warrior, or the Braves are desperate AF for starting pitching.

I know one of these is true, but I’m hoping the other is too. Need Soroka to be a positive surprise or we could be in trouble for several weeks.

Last nights game was pretty fun. Guys were bouncing around and having a good time teeing off on the ball.

I’m nervous tonight about going out west after a night game and zero travel time. Not to mention Soroka’s first start in 3 years. Hopefully the A’s atrocious baseball team is enough of a counter to those other concerns for us to get Soroka the win.

I'm not worried. Oakland is a bad base all team. Couldn't be a better way to get Soroka back to pitching than against the team that has lost the most this season. The pressure of these games is winning so as to not embarrass yourself.

I am certainly rooting for Soroka. Dude hasn't had it easy.

Yesterday’s game wasn’t good, but I chalk it up mostly to travel. Soroka didn’t look great, but wasn’t too bad other than the HR. Need him to find his command and get consistent velocity on the fastball.

Need to win the next 2 for sure.

Losing 2/3 to fricking Oakland is embarrassing. Period. Full stop.

Yeah, that team would be marginally competitive in AAA. We are not a good team right now at all.
