Acuna’s on a terror. It wasn’t always a pretty series, but a sweep is a sweep!
If we can get all the people back in May that are supposed to be back, we should be very good.
About time to bring Soroka back to the ATL

We gotta find a place to play Grissom.

And get Ozuna out of the lineup

Speaking of Ozuna...Boo birds were loud and clear each time he came to bat, striking out or popping out, back to the dugout.

He actually looked decent a couple nights ago where even his outs were loud outs. Announcers said something about them working on his footwork and every at bat was a good one with no strikeouts I believe. It lasted 1 game and he went right back to uncompetitive at bats. Boo birds are tough silence when they get started, and I honestly put more of that on Snit for playing him at this point. Still, no reason to boo a guy that’s failing…it’s not like he’s trying to fail. Thought ATL fans were better than NY or Philly

So you think it's just a total coincidence that Ozuna gets himself arrested twice and spends 2+ seasons now looking like a high school player trying to hit MLB pitching immediately after signing the last big contract he was ever going to get? He's not purposefully playing like shite, but I'm pretty confident that he doesn't give a frick that he's playing like shite either. He secured the bag and now he just doesn't care enough to put in the work because his major career goal has been achieved. Athletes do it all the time.

He may not be doing it on purpose, but he is bringing nothing to the team. We’re stuck paying him regardless so if there are better options, and there are better options, then we need those in the lineup. Vaughn is hitting .351 in AAA last I checked. I’m pretty sure he can do better than Ozuna’s .091 or whatever he is sporting now.

MRI for Arcia shows a microfracture. He is headed to the IL. Guy was playing amazing baseball both with the glove and the bat. Terrible break for Arcia... pun intended.

Vaughn’s going to be playing for Arcia now, but there are definitely better options than Ozuna unless there really is something to the footwork. Either way, he better figure it out soon if he wants to get any at bats.

Not sure how you came to that conclusion out of my statements. I’m just not a fan of booing a person for failing at a sport, regardless of how much is his fault or if he truly gave 100% effort. I tend to prefer letting the coach decide if negative consequences are warranted, vs. trying to publicly shame the player with boos.

Not Braves related, but are y'all tracking what the Ray's are doing?
Pretty damn impressive.
Even more impressive is they are the 3rd team to start a season 13-0. Can't believe it's has already been done twice before.

It is very impressive Saint.
Coincidentally, the 1982 Atlanta Braves are one of those 3 teams to start the season at 13-0.
That team was managed by Joe Torre.
Their ace pitcher was knucleballer Phil Niekro.
Top hitter was 1982 MVP Dale Murphy.
They won the west by 1 game over the LA Dodgers and got beat out by the Cardinals in the NLCS.

They are favored to break the all time opening win streak record today. That’s pretty unbelievable, especially since it’s a team with a relatively small payroll!

They’re basically what the A’s used to be. Extremely competitive most years, with a small payroll.

Analytics support Ozuna being one of the worst baseball players in all MLB. I personally think he'll be gone by the all star break one way or another, but hopefully much sooner because the team is better without him.
Anything or anyone would be an upgrade, but I've heard Terry Mcguirk is not down with letting players making that much sit at home... question is this- is he punishing Ozuna or AA ?

Braves will definitely have to eat the contract to move on from him. DFA and let someone else deal with his situation.

He's long overdue for a big game and getting arrested again.
Aggravated assault/battery in 21.
DUI in 22.

Well, other than Snit getting ejected for being right and winning the challenge, this game has started pretty nicely!
