A's, Pirates, Nats, and Cubs coming up too. If we aren't comfortably over .500 after that stretch it will be...not good.

Yep! Great game winning dive by Olson.
Had 1 of those closed door team meetings after last Tuesday's loss.
5 wins in a row since and 1st ever 4 game sweep at Colorado.

Jansen not impressive.
My mlb account has been blacked out the entire week- doesn't seem right to blackout paying customers for an entire week+ while the braves play in the surrounding states.

That is a low blow by your subscriber. I can understand when they're at home, but not long distance road games.

I'm currently living in Utah so I've been blacked out for the Arizona and Colorado games.
This is their statement:
Neither the Arizona nor the Colorado series was broadcast on a local network station in SLC.
MLB should tell "local networks" to kick rocks when it comes to telling them how they distribute their content to their premium subscribers, but of course charging the subscribers and blacking them out for MOAR money from the networks is a solid business plan.
Also they should have a mileage that determines "local" because it's a looooong drive from SLC to Denver (8+ hours) or Phoenix (10+ hours)- it most certainly is not "local."
Of course the answer to all questions is moar money. Why not simply charge the public in every which direction it's not like we are going to do anything about it.
This is their statement:

The reasons for the blackouts is simple and twofold: The first reason is cable providers' desire for exclusive broadcasting rights in their local networks. The second, is MLB's desire to get fans into the stadium for attendance purposes

This would be fair if Sinclair hadn't spent the last couple of years forcing television providers to pick between dropping RSNs or losing tons of customers by dramatically increasing their rates in order to meet Sinclair's demands. In and around Atlanta Comcast and the deluxe package of DirecTV streaming are your only two options as far as I know, but that'll run you anywhere from $30-100 more a month than YouTube, Hulu, Sling, etc. in addition to receiving some of the absolute worst customer service experiences known to man.

This is total bullshite though no matter how you look at it. It's based on the belief that if the game isn't on TV people will be more likely to go in person, but that's just nonsense. Most fans go to a handful of games a year and have neither the time nor the money to buy season tickets and then use them for 60+ games.

Rosario began hitting in the batting cage last week and he was shagging fly balls during batting practice before Atlanta's June 7 game against the A's. Rosario underwent laser eye surgery in late April after being diagnosed with a swollen retina. The 2021 NLCS MVP battled blurred vision throughout this season's first few weeks. Now that he has started completing baseball activities, there remains hope he could return some time in July, possibly after the All-Star break. -- Mark Bowman

Ynoa on a little bit of a roll in Gwinnett.
His last 2 outings, 1 earned run, 2 hits in 12 innings of work.
No hits allowed in 7 innings last night.

Harris and Contreras have been very pleasant surprises. Especially considering we moved Langeliers and Pache for Olson. Looks like we may have kept the better prospects.

Ozuna has been worthless this season.

Contreras needs to DH on days he don’t catch.

Wow! 8 wins in a row.
Mets lead down to 6.5
Max Fried with another masterpiece on the mound.

I also agree with Ozuna out. Contreras or d'arnaud at the DH spot.
