Starting OF tonight is:

Arcia
Heredia
Demeritte

Ooooof.

We need Acuna back and I let Rosario play through his struggles. Duvall is what he is, he is gonna hit .220-.230 but hit 30 bombs

The Dansby offensive enigma is just frickin maddening.

He will slash .308/.376/.497 with a cool 135 wRC+ in May and have everyone hyped before crashing and burning to the tune of .209/.246/.400 and a 68 wRC+ in June. You can pretty much set your clock to it. If he could cut his slumps down by a week and extend his hot streaks by a week he'd be an overall great player. But at this point there is 0 chance it ever happens. He just is what he is.

Who had Kyle Wright with a 26 to 2 K:BB ratio and a < 1 WHIP after 3 starts? Where did this come from? Even when he has pitched pretty well in the past the Ks have been sporadic and the walks relatively high. He has never shown this kind of dominance before. Much less sustained over multiple starts.

It's certainly great to see.
They ask A.Riley in Spring training who he thinks possibly emerges for a breakout season.
He replied, keep an eye on K.Wright.

Agree... We get the 5 star phenom back at the top of the lineup, followed by Olson, Riley, Ozuna, Duvall, Albies, Rosario, lethal right there.

How close is Ronnie to being pulled back up? I haven’t seen much of how he’s doing in Gwinnett.

May 6 is his projected return to the majors.
Acuna recently said knee feels great. I'm ready to return.
He had a good game last night. 2for3, walk, stolen base, run scored.

Braves are being ridiculous having a date set in stone they refuse to budge on. He's healthy and playing at 100% in the minors- I could see giving a mere mortal X at bats to get them acclimated, but Acuna is a Mike Trout level talent that's gonna hit the second he gets back.

This team is struggling to score runs and losing series to bottom feeders. These games that are being farted away are going to look much bigger coming down the stretch trying to win a pennant.

Hopefully after losing this series to Miami they choose not to waste anymore time and bring him up.

Chip did say a few innings ago they may possibly move him up sooner.
I'm with you. Acuna says he's ready. 5 for 12 going into today. Have him leading off for the Cub series.

So are Dansby and Duvall. The entire bottom half of the lineup has been useless all season. They've shite the bed against some awful teams. It's still early, but concerning nonetheless. Especially because it's not a matter of bad luck with some of them. Rosario and Dansby have just been complete shite no matter how you look at it.

Rosario is concerning. From the moment he got to the braves last year he was barreling balls. Even on pitches he was fooled or guessing he would square the ball. This year he just looks lost.

He’s now out two months with a eye procedure to correct blurred vision.

Didn’t Uggla have some eye procedure done when he was pure shite? Maybe that’s the Braves organizational solution for players in huge slumps

Brian McCann did also, but they didn't miss two months. Lasik is not a two month recovery. WTF ?

Sounds more like get lasik, then spend some time in the minors figuring out what is wrong with his swing. It's easy to see what is wrong with Dansby swing- his head is moving far too much to see the ball. I dont know where to begin with Rosario... I guess first of all his front side is flying open to damn near step in the bucket range which makes it impossible to hit at any level much less MLB.

Welp, letting Joc go looking worse by the week in Braves country. Clearly he was someone that needed to be retained. I dont get it, but I guess it's time for me to let that go- its done.

So... are the Braves going to bring up a serviceable OF ? Michael Harris is batting over .300 with 6 steals and nearly a .900 ops. I think the Braves bench better get better in a hurry if we're not bringing someone up from the minors.

Braves had better stop operating under this notion that the pennant cant be lost in April and May. Last season was a miracle.
