Multiple sources are reporting that former LSU special teams coordinator Bradley Dale Peveto has been hired to be linebackers coach and run game coordinator at Ole Miss.

Peveto worked under Les Miles at LSU from 2005-2008 and from 2014-2016. He was fired by Ed Orgeron after the regular season ended, just one day after being Coach O was named permanent head coach.

He won recruiter of the year for a reason, but he's terrible at coaching. Whatever position group he takes over will become worse year after year until he is fired.

Good and bad. Good for us, their special teams will suffer. Bad for us, he will recruit some guys away from us.

Agree except for the recruiting part ;-) I don't think he'll be able to sell anything that Coach O. can't match. Just my opinion.

I don't think he will be coaching special teams.

For his sake, Peveto is hoping he gets to do something else. On the other hand, I'm not so sure if Special Teams (or defense) matter at Ole Miss.
