As an OSU fan I agree that it doesn't matter. I actually wish OSU was #3 or #4 so I could quit hearing about it. Make it to the playoff and it will all get settled there. OSU was #8 going into the playoff last year and won so you never know what will happen.

I could care less if Ohio State were number or not as it really doesn't matter. I'm not sure having a buy is good thing. But to compare, the two, I hope they get play each other.

I agree with you, they cannot control the conference schedule. Clearly Ohio State is not afraid to play people, in the past and future. Texas this year and next; Alabama for a home and home after that and then Georgia for a home and home. Kudos to Alabama and Georgia as well. .
