With rumors swirling of him leaving Ole Miss for Auburn, On3 reported on Wednesday night that Lane Kiffin informed his players that he's staying prior to their Thanksgiving game against Mississippi State...
quote:

Kiffin told Ole Miss players Wednesday evening that, unless something significantly changes, he’s planning on staying as the head coach of the Rebels, sources tell On3 and OM Spirit.

It comes in the midst of Kiffin being widely viewed as the favorite to be the next head coach for Auburn, which is in search of a replacement for Bryan Harsin, who was fired on Halloween during his second season as the Tigers’ coach.

Kind strange he is saying to his players "I will take the job and leave but right now the deal is not good for me. Until it is".

"Unless something significantly changes". I appreciate an honest and open answer from a head coach. It's incredible rare.
