The Detroit Lions fan who taunted D.K. Metcalf prior to getting punched made a telling comment while heading back to his seat on Sunday afternoon... Metcalf has been suspended two games for punching the fan during Sunday's game.

Also it was likely a lie. It’s the go to defense of abhorrent behavior or to get out of circumstances like a coward. See Myles Garrett and Justin fields when he was too scared to compete at Georgia
