Here's Kobe Bryant's Current Thoughts On LeBron James and his upcoming free agency decision
© Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports
Bleacher Report’s Howard Beck sat down with some legendary NBA players, wondering what they think of LeBron James and his upcoming free agency decision. One of those players was Kobe Bryant. Here were his thoughts...
quote:

All I thought about as a kid personally was winning championships. That’s all I cared about. That’s how I valued Michael. That’s how I valued [Larry] Bird. That’s how I valued Magic [Johnson]. It was just winning championships. Now, everybody’s going to value things differently, which is fine. I’m just telling you how I value mine.

If I’m Bron, you got to figure out a way to win. It’s not about narrative. You want to win championships, you just gotta figure it out.
I completely agree with him. You?

Kobe never bounced around to different teams to try to win those titles

If you replace year one Lebron, with year one Kobe and give him the same set of teammates that Kobe had each year throughout his career then Lebron has 7 titles

Yep. If you were to replace Kobe with Lebron - Lebron wouldn’t even make it out of the West. He’d find a way to lose with great stats. He needs more help.

Magic, Jordan and Bird didn't go looking to make championship teams, they made everyone around them better. Mr James cant seem to do that.

Pretty sure he's won 3 championships, actually. But don't let the facts get in the way...

The NBA has never been worse. Completely unwatchable.

Doesn't matter where he plays, he just needs the other 4 guys to play also. No 1 man team has ever won a NBA championship.

He alreadybshit his bed when he left the 1st time. All he had to do was stay put, and guys like Durant would've fought to go to Cleveland to play with him. He chose the easy road and always will. He would have won a few for Cleveland if he never left, period. He ran an amazing pit guard out of town last year and this year he had his choice dribble out the clock while not in the lead. Great great power and offensive player. It ends there

What top free agent with options has ever picked Cleveland other than Lebron James?

Kobe had a good surrounding cast at the Lakers. Horry was money from beyond the arc and Shaq dominated inside the paint. That team had good chemistry. LeBron could have championships anywhere he goes, with the right pieces in place. And it wouldn't have to be a star studded lineup like they have at Golden State.
