If the NFL did that, they would lose money. The only ones that would make a profit is sports bars. That's where everyone would go to watch it. That's where most people go to watch pay per view events nowadays!

This guy was the architect of ESPN moving from a sports network, to a political network that happens show college football.

Go ahead and make everyone buy the NFL Ticket (or whatever they call it) to watch the season games while you're at it... see how many fans you don't have.

The NFL will probably do it. There's nothing a Goodell led league won't do to alienate its fans.

Cause the $3k tickets, $7m commercial slots don't help generate any revenue.

I wouldn't drop a dime on that even if the Falcons were playing.

Actually, they should totally do this. Kill demand.

I would not pay a single dollar to watch the Super Bowl. Even if the saints make it again.
I think this idea would be a massive failure.

Happy to meet a kindred spirit! Last time I watched any of the Super Bowl was 2019...I watched the Thunderbirds flyover from out in the 'burbs and then went to the grocery store (best time ever to shop).
