Brees could have (should have) easily told these clowns to get lost, over the summer. That would have been a huge middle finger to the media, bad teammates, and his attackers. Instead, he allowed his image to be tarnished in a different way- while also risking lifetime debilitating injuries for ungrateful morons.

Mike couldn't even snag one 5-yard catch against Tampa, so Drew having a better arm wouldn't have had much effect since Mike is slow and can't burn anyone deep.
