Rockets Fan Caught On Tape Sucker Punching Pelicans Assistant Coach

After the Houston Rockets beat the New Orleans Pelicans last weekend, a fan sucker punched one of the Pelicans' assistant coaches courtside...

Manuel Garcia, 38, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault. He is suspected of punching Joe Boylan. Garcia's girlfriend, Brittney Aplin, 33, was also arrested for allegedly preventing police from getting to Garcia.

The Rockets have since banned the fan for life.

On Monday, the Pelicans issued a statement, saying: "We are aware of this incident but will have no further comment."

Also on Monday, Harris County District Attorney's Office prosecutor Nathan Beedle said he won't speculate on a motive but added, "We will get to the bottom of this and hold them both accountable for their actions."

The last I heard Houston was the largest city in the State of Texas located in the United States of America. Because he is Latino, Mexico is to blame? Are you certain he has even ever been to Mexico or that he is even of Mexican descent? Hate rots the brain.

HUH? Because a crazy fan hit a coach? That could't have happened in DFW? Or was it because of the ethnicity of the fan? If so, you don't think a crazy white guy could have done the same?
