It’s a petty move. Last seven years he’s been pretty much the only thing that has made this franchise relevant. Not his fault the front office is incompetent and has mismanaged this team instead of building around him over time like they were supposed to do. He’s been here carrying this team for seven years and losing. Doesn’t see much hope for the future here under management of Demps and others and wants a chance to win.
