Urban Meyer Hitting The Miami Clubs To Kick Off His Retirement

Meyer's 1st season at OSU was 12-0, 3rd was 14-1 w/1st CFPNC. He has lost only 4 Conference games in 7 yrs at OSU (93%) & is 83-9 (90%). His 187-37 (85.3%) for his career was the best in the FBS among active Coaches, Saban was 3rd at 78.6. Meyer has a congenital arachnoid cyst on the left side of his brain. It was drained in 2014 but over the past 30 yrs as he aged the symptoms have gotten severe. He went down on one knee during a game this yr and AD Smith instituted an intervention whenever he saw Meyer start grabbing his head. After it was determined he could die on national TV during a game he decided to step down and take the Assistant AD job.

He'll be back in coaching soon, he's too young and driven not to be.
