He didn’t even show boat. He was just watching. Seemed very unnecessary. What if the ball hit the fence and was in field of play. The ump helped the team unfairly.

Older I get, the more I despise umps. To watch them get more and more power hungry is disgusting. They must spend a large part if their day trying to figure ways to inject themselves into a game.
