But since there's no homecourt advantage due to the nuetral-site, NBA owners have a list of ideas on how to reward teams for homecourt advantage...
quote:

The higher-seeded team being awarded the first possession of the second, third and fourth quarters, following the traditional jump ball to begin the game

The higher-seeded team being allowed to designate one player to be able to be whistled for seven fouls instead of six before fouling out

The higher-seeded team receiving an extra coach's challenge

The higher-seeded teams being able to transport their actual hardwood home court from their home arenas to Orlando to try to preserve the feel of their home playing experience

An off-court feature in which playoff teams, in order of seeding 1-16, receive first choice on picking which hotel they will stay at in the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and Disney World Resort. ESPN is owned by the Walt Disney Co.

I am actually the NBA still allows an advantage of any sort. Isn't that against social justice and equity?

Boooooo. Forget that nonsense. Invite the top 16 teams, seed them based on record, make a bracket and make it a double elimination tournament.

Doesn't the home team always win anyway? Just spot the higher seed 20 points and skip ahead to the finals

If they showed me a photo of Adam Silver and presented it as a recently found mummy in the Valley of the Kings, I wouldn't question the claim.

None of these. The NBA needs to play a full regular season and shrink the playoffs. Only way the season won't have an asterisk next to it in my opinion.
