re: Cassidy or Letlow

Years ago when Cassidy was running for the U.S. House seat for the first time, my wife and I spotted him driving around the garden district in a white pick up truck handing out yard signs. We went up to his truck and asked for a sign and talked to him for about 10 minutes. He was very down to Earth and seemed genuine. Now I wouldn't vote for him in a million years. He has been completely corrupted by D.C.
We have two daughters. The youngest one just went off to college last August making us official empty nesters. At times it is difficult. Sometimes on a weekend or after work I find myself just looking at their rooms. They are not there, but so much of their childhood is still there. Pictures with friends, awards from school, trophies from playing sports, their beds and other random things that remind me of certain times of their lives. I have random memories of things when they were babies, or 5 years old, or 15 years old and I think to myself....wow that seems like a different lifetime now. Was that even really my own life back then or just someone else?

Best thing I can tell younger parents is to learn to hold on to moments as they pass. We all think about the future way too much and miss the present.

It's not all bad though when they grow up. Not at all. My wife and I feel a deep sense of pride and accomplishment seeing them all grown up now. They are both well adjusted young women forging a great life for themselves. Somehow we did something right along the way. And that's a great feeling.
I'm not a mechanic, but I would surmise that driving around on a tire with dry rot is probably a very bad idea.
fricking terrible. Making me dizzy when combined with Tito’s
I would like to have a meaningful comment on all the threads here tonight. But I timed my drinking around a 6:00 start time after work and now it’s 10:00 and my wife wont leave me alone.

Home run or strike out.
Wow. One game at a time. I’m not superstitious unless it concerns LSU baseball.
Even better, watch out for older looking cards with no plate but instead a temporary tag. These are usually fake and bought on the black market. These are people who don't have insurance, and they use the fake temporary tag to avoid being randomly stopped by the cops. And of course, they are usually terrible drivers. I've seen a proliferation of these fake tags over the past couple years.
I’m with you bro. Only thing that saved me was that I boiled shrimp for some company and you have to eat it hot. Now I’m full but still have room for some Tito’s
It rained for about 15 minutes. Now I’m sipping on a cocktail and boiling shrimp. I’m not even mad. It’s just ridiculous how you can’t play a fricking baseball game if someone farts 200 miles away.
It would seem he’s struggling to hit.

This is going to be a fun post season. I’m looking forward to it.

I’ve been following this board for 20 years. I usually don’t have the time to watch a full baseball game. But I watched this one from front to back and it was a great game. Stop your bitching.
He does not love LSU. This is a PR campaign for him just like his commercials and billboards. It gets him publicity, and most of all, more clients. It is what it is, I guess.
Sorry guys, my urination in the backyard attempt for a rally didn’t work. And now my dogs seem a little upset with me. On to next weekend!
