All local newscasts that aren't major cities are practically unwatchable.

The best is when there’s severe weather in an area and the news cuts in due to possible tornadoes and people on social media lose their minds. It’s really fun to check out when it’s a sporting event that’s interrupted.

this shite happened during the 1997 (IIRC) Seinfeld final episode in my hometown. We had a big watch party at the house and it was a disaster. No TiVO or DVR to see it again. Still haven't seen that whole episode, lol !

I quit watching local station KSLA after they broke in to an LSU v Auburn football game to report on weather that was 200 miles away. That was during the Cam Newton era, and I'm still pissed off about it.

Next thing we will start hearing about is the new NBA ++ subscription service that you can purchase for a low monthly fee to avoid local news cut-ins for good.

In fairness, aren't most close games drawn out right there at the end?
