Indiana Fever star rookie Caitlin Clark finally addressed her Olympic team snub this weekend...
quote:

"I know it’s the most competitive team in the world and I know it could’ve gone either way, me being on the team or me not being on the team. I’m excited for them, gonna be rooting them on to win gold."
She also told her coach this...

The most marketable woman the WNBA has ever had and they don't select her to go to the Olympics. Great move, idiots.

Not the first time they've done something stupid like this. The 1992 "Dream Team" had Christian Laettner instead of Shaquille O'Neal.

I agree with the coach, let her get some rest. She’s been playing since last October at a high level. She’ll get more benefit from that than the dog and pony show.

Not surprised and I think it's a good thing for the WNBA in the long run! I think it will only increase viewership of the WNBA, so it's going to be a great thing for Clark also. She was already a beast and now she has a chip on her shoulder, so she's going to be on a mission.
