catcher should have taken that guy out for throwing bat at his pitcher. kind of like a lineman standing up for his QB

Happened in post season play in 72 or 73. Oakland A’s shortstop Bert Campy Campeneris threw his bad like a helicopter at the opposing pitcher. I know he did not get suspended.

can't throw a bat at somebody. There should be a massive suspension involved. Hell, a lifetime ban would be a deterrent to all other players.

One is most likely an accident and the other was not. A big suspension has to come if you purposefully throw a bat at another player.
