I had my first trip to Arlington Cemetery this year with my daughter's school. Pictures do not do it justice because the picture is only one direction. It is endless in every direction. That was a moving moment for me. I took a picture of a headstone and this guy served in the Spanish-American, WW I, and WW II. 50 yrs of service and 3 wars. Unreal.

This is very inspirational - we owe so much to that generation. I was the generation just behind them - and it is our generation that fumbled the ball - Had we as a group held on to what those great men put on display, we'd be in a great position today.

They honored a WWII vet at the LSU-UF baseball game a few months back and he looked pretty good too. That’s how you know these guys are complete badasses.
