LSU forward Jersey Wolfenbarger will enter the transfer portal after one season with the Tigers.

Wolfenbarger, a 6-5 junior from Fort Smith, Ark., transferred to LSU from Arkansas last offseason.

She played in all 37 of LSU’s games this past season, with nine starts, and averaged 4.6 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.

This girl can play. I wish she were staying. She needed more playing time. This is a loss for the program. A big girl that can really move.

“Jersey Wolfenbarger” might want to enter the name portal too.

Whether she couldn’t produce or got greedy amid wanted more money is wholly irrelevant. The name of the game now is availability and she is unavailable for the upcoming year. Time to move on and get someone who can be productive.

Her and Koval would been a good fit, both being 6-5, Jersey could have played the 4 spot.

That means Coach Mulkey found an upgrade. Three players (I do not remember their names) come to mind from Mississippi State, Arizona and Wisconsin, respectfully. Otherwise, it could be someone else. Geaux Tigers!

It means she got some bigger money offer in the portal. I don't think Mulkey wanted to lose this one

I'm sure Mulkey liked the idea of Koval, Smith and Jersey but.....can't make them do something they don't want to do.

She should have gotten a lot more playing time this coming season if she stuck it out
