I can’t watch GameDay anymore. In the past I was glued in every time it came on. They gave good info and insight. Now it’s just opinions and people trying to be funny by cutting each other down. They just aren’t funny to me and there is little if any real info provided.

Just because you make the playoffs doesn’t mean you will when. Ole Miss wasn’t going to win this year with or without Lane. Someone mentioned in passing the number 1 recruit in the country was waiting for him in Baton Rouge. Saban talked about how pre capita Louisiana produced more NFL players than anywhere else. If he stays for 6 years he will take home 2 Nattys.

Seemed like Saban was getting heated with the hate on Lane. While they had their moments in Tuscaloosa, you can really tell Saban likes Lane. I guarantee you Saban told him to go to LSU and buy into the culture. Saban even said “LSU” when talking about when Lane left Bama. I think Saban still has a sweet spot in his heart for Baton Rouge.

I think Saban still feels a little guilty for blocking him from being OC in 2017 for Orgeron. We'll probably never know how that went down but he potentially blocked him then and maybe when DeBoer got hired at Bama. And now that he is retired he's like hell yeah go to LSU, I don't have to play you.
