Why does Lane keep giving pouring gas on this issue that needs to be dead and buried? Bc no matter wht he says, someone is going to take a piece of it run w it and then it shows up on social media. Needs to take a page out of Bill Belichik’s book here. On to LSU.

It's only "pouring on gas" from the Ole Miss and the haters segment. He articulated everything with clarity, purpose, reason and thoughtfulness. When the piece came out the LSU wasn't on the horizon. He was honest about his departure being messy. He really doesn't owe anyone a justification. Ole Miss was lucky to have them. He took a moribund program to heights they haven't seen in 60+ years.

LK is exactly right. Rarely does a coach leave with grace. Most of em are either forced out, fired, or leave. Even legendary coaches at top programs who have won it all have found themselves in this position.
