Multiple sources have reported that the New Orleans Saints are hiring Philadelphia Eagles quarterbacks coach Doug Nussmeier as the team's offensive coordinator under new head coach Kellen Moore.
The 54-year-old veteran coach is the father of LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier.
Doug's younger son, Colton Nussmeier, is a five-star quarterback in the class of 2027.
Colton just wrapped up his sophomore season at Marcus High School in Flower Mound, Texas, but could transfer to a high school near New Orleans because of his father's new gig with the Saints.
Nussmeier played for the New Orleans Saints from 1994 to 1997, when he met his wife, a Saints cheerleader.
Nussmeier and Saints head coach Kellen Moore have worked together since 2018 with the Cowboys, Chargers, Eagles, and now again in New Orleans.
