It happens. I saw Beck at the peak of his popularity at a place about the size of Tips. He just decided to play the day of and announced it on....maybe MySpace....

We always stay in airbnbs on the east side. Google Ken's Artisan Pizza, which is fantastic, and that's the general area we stay....
Amsterdam Is Going to be Much More Expensive to Visit

The city of Amsterdam will ban nearly all new hotels and restrict the number of tourists who can stay overnight each year in its latest effort to combat overtourism. This is in addition to the strict limits on AirBnBs and small B&Bs. This means hotels prices will become very expensive.

Portland is a great town but downtown isn't where I would hang out. Pearl District is very nice but not my favorite area. Hawthorne or Mississippi district is where I would hang. You will see homeless people and walk through encampments along sidewalks but the homeless aren't aggressive ...
