North Carolina here I come.

If I’m in the portal I’m not making any decision until I talk to Bill Belichick to see if I have a spot with him.

Can’t wait until they start signing contracts that hold them responsible for staying or paying a big penalty to leave. It’s really the only way they can get this under control.

Who’s going to be the first school brave enough to start doing that? Unless they’re all doing the same that’s just a recruiting disadvantage

Does that happen when coaches leave for other jobs?

Yes. The hiring school usually pays it

Matbe the coach(es) mismanaged the roster as well as the games. These players are trying to showcase and earn now. Go where you may be valued and used more. Especially the upperclassmen.

you have seen that once a player transfers the first time, they are never satisfied and transfer again!! we dont need those guys on our team. we want those that WANT to be here at LSU

He’s not leaving because someone offered him more money, he’s leaving because we barely played him despite Suggs consistently playing well in his limited playing time. I never understood why he didn’t play more.

Feel certain the coaches played the guys to give them the best chance of winning- they see things in practice that we never see.

I think that, not just in football but almost any type skills that need to be practiced, there are some people who practice well but but falter under the spotlight , and the opposites that don’t practice well but thrive and excel under pressure.

Name 5 poor practice players that were amazing game players. There may be outliers, but that is def not the rule.

This entering the portal every season to get a higher bid is going to get old. Suggs was good but not that good.

Why? It’s not like you aren’t getting exposure to show your abilities

There have been many in the NFL that have been announced on game day that they went to LSU that I never heard of while they were here. Scouts are looking beyond the starters...for bargains.
