Chris Hummer of CBS Sports reports that LSU senior offensive analyst Todd Fitch is leaving Brian Kelly's staff to become Charlotte’s offensive coordinator and associate head coach.

Fitch joined LSU's staff last March after three years at Ohio State.

He previously worked with LSU Co-Offensive Coordinator Joe Sloan at Louisiana Tech from 2016 to 2019.

Why would he leave?

It’s called “elevation.” Being an OC at a smaller program is a lot better than being an analyst at a big one, and probably pays a little more too.

It’s called progression, like how you went from dish washer to fry cook, and in 3 years you may make sous chef….

Let him go. Offensive play calling was arse anyway.

Maybe now Kelly can get somebody in there that can provide Sloan with slightest bit of creativity.

Cannot possibly fathom a loss of this magnitude when the offense was so elite.
