CBS Sports is reporting that former LSU head coach Les Miles is a candidate for the Baylor job.

Baylor is looking for a full-time replacement for Art Briles who was fired on May 26, 2016 in the wake of revelations of misconduct by Baylor football players.

Les Miles is officially a candidate at Baylor.

While the name of the former LSU coach has been attached to the opening in the past, multiple sources have indicated to CBS Sports that Miles is indeed in the mix.

Miles himself told CBS Sports he is willing to listen about any Power Five job.

"I'm making myself available to search firms," Miles said. "I'm communicating the best I can."

To go from all those TD's to a couple of FG's every game would be quite a change in Waco.

I think his agent is just emailing in his resume for every open position and then leaking him as a candidate for all of them. Just really don't see him being on serious contention for these jobs. He had all anyone could want here and wouldn't adapt.

Absolutely embarrassing for Miles. But good for Baylor to promote their brand

It would be a good fit for Baylor... But he will need to hire an offensives coordinator familiar with the Big 12 and give them complete control.

Les will be a good change for Baylor, high character. Now his offense compared to what they have done, bears better get ready for some good ole fashion power football. Lot of great running backs in Texas

baylor is a Christian school with that has a fan base that values character alot. Les would be a welcome change to create a family environment of family and get away from the issues that are dragging that team down. baylor has plenty of money too

Les trying to communicate. LMAO! Now that's a challenge. However, he is a good recruiter and would steal a few from us in Texas and Louisiana. But Coach O. also has strong ties in both states and would get the best recruits based on the LSU brand. Good luck Leslie. Show some chest!

Perfect guy to clean up the shitstorm that Art Briles left behind.

I'd prefer to see Les go to work further away from Louisiana and our recruiting area.

Les says he is "communicated the best (he) can". It doesn't bode well for him. But he deserves a chance somewhere else. I wish him the best! Unless, of course, if/when he finds himself as a head coach on the opposite sideline for an LSU game.

"I'm communicating the best I can"... Trying to give the impression he has so many knocks at the door that he doesn't have time to talk to all of his suitors.

And the impression that he can communicate effectively using the English language

He's always had solid offenses and has shut down ooc opponents who had high powered offense. He does need to have a great offensive coordinator if he were to get hired
