It was previously reported that Lane Kiffin would be attending the Sugar Bowl on Thursday night to watch his former team, Ole Miss, take on Georgia at the Superdome in New Orleans.

Jacques Doucet now reports that Kiffin will stay local in Baton Rouge on Thursday night and attend the LSU Women's Basketball SEC opener vs. Kentucky at the PMAC.

Better for him to do that. The media would spin him taking spotlight off the teams playing if he attended Sugar Bowl.

It don't matter either way to me. He's a grown arse man & can go where he wants. If he would go he'd finally get to see a SEC team win
