LSU's K'Lavon Chaisson Is "Doubtful" vs. Vanderbilt, Orgeron Says

LSU starting outside linebacker K'Lavon Chaisson is "doubtful" for Saturday's game vs. Vanderbilt, according to head coach Ed Orgeron who provided the update during the SEC Coaches Teleconference on Wednesday.

Chaisson suffered a lower foot injury during the Texas game in Week 2 and was in a walking boot last week. He did not play vs. Northwestern State last Saturday.

Orgeron previously said on Monday that Chaisson was "questionable" but it sounds like he's now out for the Tigers first SEC game on the season.

Coach O has a different philosophy than Miles obviously lets see if it pans out over the long Hall. Keeping guys fresh for the monster games is definitely not something new but real game time is very instrumental in perfecting ones craft. KC is missing the boat here. Claiming someone held him all game against Texas is understandable but thinking Bama and other big schools will do something different is insane. He needs practice figuring wayss around that.

not sure about that, hope you are right, but sec road games rarely easy...they have a decent QB and a first round pick as a TE, nfl probable rb and avg sec wr's..
