LSU head coach Lane Kiffin spoke with reporters after practice on Tuesday and said he was happy with the way the quarterbacks have played over the last week in practice.

Kiffin expected the defense to be ahead to start spring practice, but was pleased with how the offense has come along as of late.

Kiffin also spoke about how quarterback Sam Leavitt is doing as he continues to recover from his injury from last season.

This shows just how good the coaching is and how well the players adapt They go from awful to decent in only 2 weeks, and they just got together as a unit 4 weeks ago.

I hope so, but you can’t really k ow anything from just a coach interview. Remember BK was hyping up the offense last year.

Seriously? You’re going to slobber over the coaching because he says they’re doing a good job in practice? What coach doesn’t say that?
