Joe Burrow Carted Of The Field With Serious Knee Injury

Former LSU quarterback Joe Burrow was carted off the field with a left knee injury in Sunday's game between Cincinnati and Washington. Per ESPN:

Burrow went down after getting hit below the waist by a Washington defensive lineman with just over 11 minutes left in the third quarter.

Up until that point, Burrow was 22-of-34 passing for 203 yards, one touchdown and one fumble lost. He was quickly ruled out for the game.

Burrow was off to a hot start to his rookie season with 2,485 yards and 10 touchdowns. Hoping for Joe to have a speedy recovery.

Could you imagine, putting him in a place with a solid team. Hell if Bridgewater and Hill (today) can step in and win with a watered down offense Burreaux would dominate. Brees can retire and Joe can just become a full time Louisianian. Make it happen No management!

Now that is a leader right there! He had every Bengal come running to praise him and wish him well. He also had the opponents team come and wish him the best as well. That’s when you know, you have a special man and QB playing for you and you BETTER spare no expense or effort to protect that man ASAP. Knowing Joe, he’ll know every single opponents defense and how to attack them by next year with all this time to study. This year was about his team, next year will be about studying his opponents. That’s why these guys get so much better in the NFL. They face the same defenses and styles of attack every year and the way Joe plays, by year 3 he’ll have them all in his back pocket. I’m not worried that this will affect him negatively at all. Even if he’s not quite as mobile, which we don’t and won’t know until next year, he will find a way to best his opponents. Made man right there! He’s just a natural born QB.

I’m not for or against LSU but really like Joe. If the front office doesn’t get him help on the line, they are wasting a leader and winner on the field.
