Update: LSU Starting Safety AJ Haulcy Is Suspended For The First-Half Of The Clemson Opener
On Thursday, reports began circulating that LSU safety AJ Haulcy has an uncertain status for the season opener against Clemson.
Haulcy, who is expected to start at safety this season, transferred to LSU from Houston in the offseason.
In his final game with the Cougars, Haulcy was involved in a scuffle following a BYU touchdown and was ejected for unsportsmanlike conduct.
Clemson reporter David Hood reported that Haulcy may need to sit out the first half vs. Clemson, but that has yet to be confirmed.
As of now, nothing has been confirmed about Haulcy's status, but Brian Kelly will meet with the media today after practice and provide an update. Stay tuned.
