This is not a trade-in. It’s two separate transactions. As such you will not get a tax credit for your old car and you will have to pay full sales tax on the car you purchased (if in LA).

I do not own one but I rented one for a week and was impressed with the features. Surprisingly it was a loaded out model that a was a a rental. I can’t speak to reliability thought.

At my kids' school about 50 walk to and from school/home.
Then another 50 pretend to walk home b/c their moms park one block away to bypass the carpool line, but that's another story.
So in all ~100 walk across busy streets 2x a day so the school zones absolutely are not worthless. We do have crossing guards also.
