LSU interim head coach Frank Wilson took over Brian Kelly's radio show this week and provided some team updates ahead of Saturday's matchup at Alabama.

One of the things that Wilson revealed is that freshman safety Jhase Thomas and freshman wide receiver TaRon Francis are expected to earn some playing time this weekend.

Thomas has appeared in two games against Southeastern La. and Texas A&M and came up with a big blocked punt against the Aggies.

Francis has only appeared in the Southeastern La. game but did not record any stats.

People wonder why. Obviously they had a great week in practice. This is what shows coaches who wants to play the most. They earned it, so let them play.

Damn I've been wanting to see Francis all year. Next Louisianimal at WR. I've always loved the athleticism Jhase Thomas showed out of high school as well. Both have the potential to be future LSU stars.

But. Why?

Why not? We are not going anywhere and there are only 4 games left. Let them play.

Nothing to lose at this point. If they haven’t resorted already they still can if they keep them to 4 games or under.
