Former LSU defensive lineman Kimo Makane'ole revealed Friday that he has committed to West Virginia.

Makane'ole, a redshirt junior from Niceville, Fla., came to LSU as an offensive lineman but switched to the defensive line in the spring of 2024. He made one tackle in 10 games this season.

I wouldn’t expect him to make a tremendous contribution. I was shocked that a school like WV offered him. He’s a coachable guy who will give yall 110%. I hope that he has a successful 2 years there.

Yes. I'd like to know if LSU will be playing against him. Will he remain in the conference? And most importantly, it reveals the needs of another school, and level of desperation-depending on the player.
