LSU's offensive line kept quarterback Garrett Nussmeier pretty clean vs. Arkansas last week and did not allow a sack.

A big part of the offensive line's success was Will Campbell, who contained Arkansas star defensive end Landon Jackson for most of the night. Emery Jones also had a great game and was named SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week.

Here's some film of Campbell vs. Jackson from Saturday night and the entire offensive line battling.

Yeah if anything it makes me wish Jackson had stayed.

Me too. He was a beast in high school. When he left I think it looked like his path to playing time was blocked. I thought he looked good the other night but Campbell looked just a touch better

Landon was there a couple times and Nuss knew to get the ball out quick. But I only saw a few plays where they chipped Landon so they were able to take him out the game with one player. I think they both play on Sundays.

A ref could have called Holding on several of those and everyone would have just said...yeah good call. If the ref doesn't call it, on the same play any number of commentators would have said good block and everyone would have agreed...on the same play! Holding is just not that well defined enough to me.

The most impressive thing to me is Will's feet. Getting out of his stance is impressive. Landon is a beast though. Two first rounders coming next April

Not knocking the kid as he was ALMOST there a few times….but this videos also shows that LJ40 only has one move coming off the edge. He’ll need to develop a few more if he wants to be decent at next level.
