CBS Analyst Warns Kentucky Is Being Undersold Ahead Of Matchup vs. LSU

LSU travels to Kentucky this weekend for a matchup against a Wildcats team that shouldn't be overlooked.

Kentucky fell out of the latest AP poll despite improving to 4-1 with a 35-34 road win over South Carolina. The Wildcats erased a 13-point fourth-quarter deficit to pick up their second SEC win of the season.

CBS Sports analyst Brad Crawford called Kentucky "one of the most improved teams in the country" and believes the Wildcats aren't getting enough national respect.

Kentucky enters Saturday's matchup with plenty of momentum, making this a dangerous road test for LSU.

There seems to be a disconnect between the vibe around LSU fans and the rest of the country. Every LSU fan, I know expects that this will probably be a very difficult game and we absolutely can lose. Most of the national pundits are giving off some sort of take like “LSU may be overlooking Kentucky. Kentucky is actually really good. LSU better watch out.” I know that the fans don’t have anything to do with the team, but I find it very difficult to believe that LSU is going to overlook Kentucky.

Under current leadership I don’t see LSU overlooking anybody. We aren’t overlooking Kentucky, I guarantee it. The people overlooking Kentucky here are casual non-LSU college football fans, which is the target of the media. Basically, “please watch this game to keep ratings up”
