LSU senior power forward Brian Bridgewater spoke to reporters on Monday afternoon and said that he would like to transition to Football after he finishes up the Basketball season.
Bridgewater, who hopes to graduate in August, will have one year of eligibility remaining. The 6-5, 282-pounder played tight and wide receiver in high school. Per NOLA.com:

The 6-foot-5, 282-pound Bridgewater had spoken to LSU staffers about making the switch this fall but said he has not talked to Tigers coach Ed Orgeron just yet.
"That's a possibility, if things go according to how they're supposed to," Bridgewater said. "Hopefully that's an option. If not I'll have to see what door opens for me."
Bridgewater is hoping to graduate in August and then move on to his next sport. He'll have one year of eligibility remaining; he sat out his true freshman year (2013-14) before playing basketball the last three seasons.
