re: Wall of Shame - Owner Posts List of Declined Tab's at Fred's on the River

It's the owners fault if he's letting people keep rollover tabs. I still don't understand why when the tab is started the credit card isn't provided and swiped or left behind the bar until the tab is paid that day. If the person leaves, the tab can be closed out. Problem solved.

Every QB that re-signs or enters into free agency with even a brief history of success or potential (given the right situation) you will see a team "overpay" or stretch to pay. Look at Jordan Love...hasn't proven it long term, they only see recent potential. The next QB contract up with surpass him in a matter of months.
Did anyone know Brees would go good to great within the right situation coming off injury? No. You'll see these gambles even more and more I'd bet, especially at the QB position.
As for Carr, Saints are a dumpster fire with not a lot of options. No one really knows how good he could be in the right system and organization. Maybe you see a big bump this year with new OC?? Maybe not.

White or Black or something in between? That's my question. I'm confused.

So you people must like spending gas money driving to the store and paying double for the same merchandise? Or what other optional shopping methods are you using to spend money more efficiently and wisely?

I drive by a KFC everyday for years. Never, and I mean never, seen a person there yet...
Not sure how these other places are staying in business

Per WalterFootball....Defensive line clearly has the most first round busts since 1993 at 47%. Basically 1 of every 2 are busts. QB's as expected, aren't much better. Offensive line is the lowest at only 19% bust rate. So this makes so much sense on why I become irate every time I see a DE get picked or mocked to the Saints in the first round.

zero offensive line, mid receivers
this won't change much with the Saints. Hope he figured out how to deal with that.

Good comment. Effectiveness and longevity is definitely part of the equation. The main goal of the question was... should he move to full time RB and only in the RB room? That position needs the biggest boost. Not hybrid QB/RB/TE etc.. Can he handle the option to AK role and take 10-12 carries a game and make 3-4 catches a game? Very curious what the new staff does. What would those stats look like? 100 yrds/game? Concerned he might even eventually be "let go" as a gadget player.

Exactly, if the last 5 drafts are any indication of talent evaluation....clean house.
Could Taysom Hill play RB?

Just throwing it out there...need to get more out of his talents. Not saying he's CMC, but he could be very comparable, jmo. Opinions? Discuss...
re: did DA have a good hiring and firing record on picking coaches with the raiders

How can you quantify a good hiring and firing record if he's never had a winning season????? One would summize his record on everything is HORRIBLE!

Maybe they'll actually draft football players now instead of "projects" with "upside" because they are "just injury prone"
re: I’m jealous of Detroit fans

I'd rather be a perennial contender than being made fun of for sucking the last 30 years. But by keeping DA around the Saints have assured themselves of being the Aints again and the underdog story lives again by 2025.

he'll get 10x the volume and quality putty tang he'll ever get roaming around the backwoods of rural US playing ball. Good move...come to college, party, have lots of sex, become a god...than work.
