While representing Arizona at the Big 12 Media Days, Wildcats quarterback Noah Fifita appeared on the "Always College Football" podcast with Greg McElroy and picked LSU's Tiger Stadium as a dream road game he would love to play. Per On3:
quote:

“I think I got to go with LSU,” Noah Fifita said. “Play at Death Valley at night. I’ve heard a lot of stories about that place. Heard it shakes a little bit. I’ve heard if you stand at the 50-yard line you can smell all the whiskey in the air. So, that’s the one I would choose for sure.”

“You think you want it at night? Maybe 2:30,” McElroy joked. “I don’t know, bro. At night, it’s different… We did an Auburn game there one time. It kicked off at 8:00. Bro, it was — you thought you’d smell whiskey. I mean, that was one of 15 different alcohols you smelled that night. It was a big night down on the bayou.”

I think I still have my ticket stub to the last time they played in Tiger Stadium. Sept 9, 2006 in section 402. Remember one of the first run plays Az ran and the RB got hit so hard and I heard the helmet pop. Ah the days of rolling up on game day and buying a cheap ticket from your car window.

Nick Saban called an onside kick to start the game since he was told in the locker room before kickoff there was a 15 yard penalty. It worked and LSU went on to score a TD. Tuberville was hot! Then Tuberville called his own onside kick after Auburn scored and it didn’t work!

I believe it’s the game that was scheduled in September but 9/11 had it postponed until December. Winner was going to SEC championship game.

Well, if he has an amazing year he can transfer here and play in Death Valley every home game.

No college atmosphere was what it was the 80s and 90s, but that said a big game at night in Baton Rouge is as good as gets anywhere now. Hopefully the quit putting all our big games at 2:30

Let’s be honest, Tiger Stadium at night, is not what it used to be. My first games were late 90s and stayed amazing till all the piped in music drowned out the fans “want to”. It’s more of show of lights and loud music. We are becoming like every other school with light shows and piped in music.

Arizona has played in Tiger Stadium on several occasions and is 0-fer. However, they were a missed Zendejas field goal from winning in ‘84.

That wouldn’t have been at the end. Arizona last drive stalled when, on 4th down, the ball carrier tried to fumble forward out of bounds past the first down marker. The ball was spotted at the spot of the fumble and we ran out the clock.

Zendejas was 4/4 in the game with his longest from 50.
