Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry and LSU President Wade Rousse announced Thursday that AT&T is investing $45 million to update wireless connectivity in Tiger Stadium ahead of the 2026 college football season.
quote:

"When you have over 100,000 fans cheering on the Tigers in Death Valley, you need a network that works," Rousse said. "Strengthening service in Tiger Stadium not only keeps our fans informed, but it also helps support our great law enforcement and first responders.

"We’re proud to work with LSU to bring this state-of-the-art connectivity to college football‘s greatest venue, President of AT&T Louisiana David J. Aubrey said. "This upgrade will include a new distributed antenna system, expanding coverage and capacity."

Do you know how many times I have used my phone to get online or call someone during a game. While in the stadium? NEVER BECAUSE IT NEVER WORKS.

Why couldn’t that 45m go towards upgrading our baseball facilities for our program that is on the verge of a dynasty

It’s weird that I never have connectivity issues on the 3rd or 4th Quarter the past three seasons.
