Brian Kelly and the LSU coaching staff landed a commitment from three-star cornerback PJ Woodland on Sunday night.

Woodland, a 6-0, 165-pound from Hattiesburg, Miss. (Oak Grove), was previously committed to Mississippi State but backed off his verbal pledge with the Bulldogs last week.

The Tigers now have 24 commitments for the class of 2024 with the addition of Woodland.

Saw him play Friday night and he played really well. Played some both ways and he traveled with the 1, playing press man all night.

People forget that Ondre was 3-star and then hit a massive rise before he decommitted. PJ is widely considered a talented CB too. Do not be surprised if he sees his ratings rise before signing day to get his 4th star.

Anyway complaining about out recruiting ranking can feel free to donate to bayoutradtions to help get the NIL up. If not, stfu, you contribute nothing.

If the outfit taking up the money for them wasn't taking such a big slice I might consider it again.

People also complain about LA/MS players being chronically underrated, most NFL talent per capita, etc...

People WILL ALWAYS find something to complain about

Dam Lazy recruiting by our Coaches. Seems we would rather just take Avg portal players and take recruits from Lower tier Sec teams than compete for top prospects when it comes to DBs. Our DB coach doesn't seem to be a good recruiter.

If we were getting bama or georgia flips I would get a Lil excited. I would imagine with some people it would be Mardi Gras celebrations if we start getting flips from ULL or ULM

If the LSU coaches want him, it’s good enough for me! Go Tigers!

Maybe so, but we have way more 3 star players than UGA & Bama. Thats not a good sign if we want to compete every year with them
