LSU landed their second defensive back commit from the transfer portal on Sunday when Syracuse cornerback Darian "Duce" Chestnut committed to the Tigers.

The Camden, N.J. native (Camden High School) was a Freshman All-American in 2021 and one of the top DB's in the transfer portal.

Chestnut recorded 83 tackles, three tackles for a loss, four interceptions, and 13 passes defended over the last two seasons with Syracuse.

Ohio State cornerback JK Johnson also committed to LSU on Sunday.
