best recruiting tool we have to show these rb’s is Alfred Blue.. he was a back up and shared playing time his last year.. yet still a baller in the nfl.. goes to show u that even our seniors who most thought were done after college are NFL quality and still get paid..

This kind of exposure from kids thousands of miles away is unprecedented for LSU. Coach is just getting started, he’s building something special for years to come.

It's unprecedented concerning recent LSU recruiting efforts, but not unprecedented concerning the history of LSU recruiting efforts. Nicky went all over the country when he was HC. Cali, Maryland and even Canada for Peter Dyakowski. That being said, still, most of his signees came from Louisiana. And this will always be the case. There's just so much excellent talent in the state of Louisiana that it's really not necessary to go out-of-state a lot. But in years where the state is lacking top talent at a certain position (like the RB position this season, really just 1 SEC caliber RB in Asshad Clayton) it's icing on the cake to be able to go far away geographically and get some great talent. Or years where LSU loses a top player at a certain position to another program (like Sopsher to bama last season) and can go out and get another player of equal or better ability like they did in getting Apu Ika. I like Milton too, he has all the tools. If LSU can keep this up they will start competing for National Championships. But yea, I do agree that it is somewhat unprecedented in recent years to be able to reach out and get players from all across the USA. O and staff doing their work. WE COMIN' AND WE AIN'T BACKIN' DOWN!!! Oh hell yea baby!!!
