Three-star LSU tight end target Jackson McGohan has announced that he has de-committed from Cincinnati.

LSU offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock initially offered McGohan in November of 2021 when he was the OC at Cincinnati.

Denbrock extended him another offer, this time from LSU, just days after head coach Luke Fickell left the Bearcats for the Wisconsin job.

McGohan, a 6-4, 225-pound prospect from Miamisburg, Ohio, will visit LSU this weekend.

“I’m excited as ever to go and visit. I have heard nothing but good things about BR” — apparently he has not yet found tRant.

apologies in advance to Joey B. but who TF would ever want to live in Cinci? Cold weather and that chili-spaghetti stuff?

Don't we only have 2 spots left? Do we really need a 3* TE? How about building some depth on the line (think about our last game)?

LSU can sign as many players as it wants to get back to the 85 roster limit. There is no 25 limit this year or next. LSU can sign 40 players if it wants to.

There is no longer a 25 hard cap per year. Just have to stay under the 85 scholarship limit.
