re: Dariq Whitehead

I would say the Oklahoma Thunder GM is a pretty good judge of talent, guess what, the Thunder has signed Whitehead to a contact

Dariq Whitehead

The Nets have waive Dariq Whitehead a 6'7" wing player, who is still very young. At one point he was very highly rated, but has not lived up to his billing.
Do you think we should take a chance on him?
Singleton is currently backing up Perkins at the star position, but I agree he is a hellva athlete and should get some playing time this season.
Congratulations on your son; it's good to get a different perspective. and yes, you should be proud. :nana: :nana:

Thanks for the Intel on Bey, I think when it's all said and done, people will realize he was a very good pick up and will help this team a lot.

I was hoping to get others' opinions and thoughts on Bey, but somehow this thread has turned into a thread about Jordan Hawkings.

He is a solid rotation player, who brings a lot to the table. He should get some minutes this season.
I feel like when it's all said and done we will consider this a very good draft.

Dantheman504, you was right, it's depressing when you can't have a civil conversation about one of our players, smh

Saddiq Bey

I think Saddiq Bey is being vastly overlook, this guy is a very solid player and a good fit for the Pels. He is a decent rebounder, solid defender and can make shots. I can see him and Pevey solidifying our 2nd unit.

Starters: 2nd Unit:
Zion. Queen
Poole. Fears
Trey. Bey
Herb. Hawkins or Pevey
Yves. Looney

re: Pels get Looney!

I think we will be okay with shooting, Bey and Poole are better shooters than people are giving them credit for.

A healthy team will net us 45 wins. We have a very solid starting five
Poole
Herb
Murphy
Zion
Missi

re: Justin Fields

I remember some people saying Jalen Hurst was terrible passer and would never make a good quarterback, I'm ok with Rattler, but most new coaches like to bring in or get their own guy.

Justin Fields

Posted by Earthquake on 2/22/25 at 5:14 pm
If the Saints move on from Carr, should they make a run at Justin Fields, he seems to be the type of quarterback that Kellen Moore is used to.
I think this is a weak qb class and would rather wait and draft one next year.
He was probably let go because him and Bruce Brown was reductant, their game was very similar. I expect us to resign Brown after the season.

Anybody think we need to add a tight end also, I know it's not a dire need, but one more out of the portal would be nice.

Jacobin Guillory

BI not Playing??

Does anyone think Ingram missing the first game might mean a trade is brewing, I see no reason for him to sit out if he is healthy, which Willie Green said he was.

Why not, you can evaluate him doing training camp and see if he is a keeper
