LSU extended a late offer to four-star running back Travis Etienne from Jennings, LA on Tuesday.

Etienne, a 5-11, 210-pound prospect from Jennings High School, is rated the No. 13 running back in the country and the No. 5 overall player from the state of Louisiana, according to ESPN.

His top schools are LSU, Texas A&M, and Tennessee and will take official visits to all three schools before National Signing Day. He will visit LSU on Jan. 27.

I agree. Doesn't sound like a project at all to me. Combine Ettiene with Helaire and seems like a good 1-2 punch! Much like I anticipate Guice and Brossette! And/Or Darrell Williams. Akers is gone, but no big deal if we sign these two. A 4 star and a 3 star equals a 7 star RB! Beats Akers 5 star! Lol

A project lmfao.. Well he's not going to start his first year of that's what you mean but this kid will probably play at 220 or so and is one tough sob. He's got speed to burn and great one cut ability. He's not going to juke everyone out their shoes but he's going to make the first man miss and break 1 or 2 more tackles bf going down. He's going to be fine once he gets his weight up. If we don't end up getting that big time back next year which we will, we could always go to RB by committee until one of these guys can be an every down back. TE will be fine

I think its because Clyde Edwards-Helaire has reopened his recruitment. I hope we can get both Akers and Etienne.

If JHS Head Coach Rusty Phelps is there, he may lean him toward Ole Miss. Last Bulldog to go to LSU was Alonzo Manuel and he should have gotten more playing time.
