Four-star pass rusher Naquan Brown has announced that he is de-committing from LSU.

The Virginia Beach, Virginia native originally committed to LSU in July, picking the Tigers over offers from schools like Miami, Penn State, Virginia Tech, Tennesee, and Pitt.

LSU now has 20 verbal pledges for the class of 2021 with the departure of Brown. He is the second recruit to de-commit from the Tigers this week, joining Miami defensive tackle Anthony Hundley who opened up his recruitment on Tuesday.

At least he’s not making us respect his decision

Commitment doesn’t mean shite anymore until they’re enrolled and on the field.

Commitments mean nothing. Until they sign the letter.

This is fully expected, making room for others. We have heard this for at least two weeks.

O you better get to work and fix this. No more polishing the championship Ring on the sidelines. Leave that at home and Coach

Who needs a linebacker with 2 last names anyway?

Not to be negative but this is the reason having a bust of a season even during Covid can set you back. Get it together O

Get what together? Half of his team bolted for the NFL. A handful of the remaining starters decided to opt out of this covid season. His number 1 QB is out for the year and LSU is down to alternating between two freshmen. Get it together?? Get YOURSELF together.

LSU isn’t doing this. People are getting nervous of LSUs trajectory.

Making room by dropping a 4 star pass rusher? Uh huh.

I don’t follow recruiting too closely but it’s hard to think LSU would make room by cutting a 4star pass rusher.

He is 205 wasn't going to play WDE at 205. We committed 3 others higher at same position. Maybe he did not want to play OLB.

Recruiting so weird and untransparent.

Recruiting is complete BS now. And it’s followed by opt-outs once they come to school. Commitment and accountability dying a slow death.
